Melissa Hernandez-Jaczewska, psychologist based in Warsaw
2000 Degree in Psychology - Universidad de las Americas, Puebla, Mexico
2003 Master's recognition - Faculty of Psychology, Warsaw University
- Diploma in Gestalt Therapy - Instituto de Psicoterapia Gestalt, Veracruz, Mexico
2012 Private practice in Warsaw - individual and multicultural couples therapy

I work with adults and couples who may appear composed on the outside, yet internally feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or emotionally exhausted. Therapy offers a calm, confidential space to slow down, gently explore what lies beneath the surface, and move forward with greater clarity, self-awareness, and trust.

Born in Mexico and based in Warsaw since 2001, I bring a deeply multicultural perspective to my work. I offer therapy in Spanish, English, and Polish, both in person and online, creating a space where clients from different backgrounds feel understood and at ease.

My approach is shaped by over 19 years of professional experience, continuous training, and my own life journey. I hold a degree in Psychology from the Universidad de las Américas in Puebla, Mexico (2000), and my qualifications were officially recognized by the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Warsaw (2003).

I have continued to deepen my expertise through postgraduate training and specialized education, including:

My clinical experience began in Mexico, including work at Guadalupe Psychiatric Hospital in Puebla (1997), and has since expanded into long-term therapeutic practice in Poland. Since 2007, I have worked with adults and multicultural couples in private practice and clinical settings in Warsaw, supporting them through emotional challenges, relationship dynamics, and life transitions.

Relocating to Poland more than two decades ago profoundly shaped both my personal and professional perspective. Adapting to a new culture, learning a new language, and rebuilding my life from the ground up allowed me to deeply understand the emotional complexities of migration, identity, belonging, and living between cultures.

Over the years, I have built a family, raised two children in a multicultural environment, and developed a therapeutic approach that is both grounded and deeply human.

I support individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, self-esteem challenges, and significant life changes. I also work with couples to strengthen communication, navigate cultural differences, and reconnect with greater understanding and care.

In addition, I maintain an ongoing collaboration with psychologist Jose Luis Castillo in Mexico, my mentor and clinical supervisor, whose guidance continues to enrich and deepen my therapeutic work.
